Through collaboration and creativity, we seek to educate and strengthen the awareness of the arts. The Resident Dance Program offers a selection of dance classes for children and adults. Professional instructors lend their expertise to expose the arts within the community while establishing a dance foundation.
Led by director Taranika Gordon, mission and purpose is to assist young dancers achieve advancement in the arts; concentrating on dance’s fundamentals. Dance NOW! Miami, in residence at Miami’s Little Haiti Cultural Complex, was founded in 2000 by Diego Salterini and Hannah Baumgarten through a chance encounter at a South Florida dance collective. Delou Africa Dance Ensemble Inc. (D.A.D.E) has been performing, educating and teaching traditional West African dance, drum and music in South Florida since 1987. D.A.D.E works cooperatively with organizations and different entities in South Florida, to bring cultural awareness and diversity to the community and abroad. The company performs at numerous academic, cultural, civic and social venues. D.A.D.E is an artistic collective including drummers, musicians and dancers that work and perform together as an ensemble.Read more

She has been guest choreographer and teacher for many award winning dance studios such as Roxy Performing Arts Studio, Ballet Academy of Miami, YMCA, Maris Ballet Academy, Universal Dance Studio, Pauline De La Vega Studio, Sunflower Private School, Mater Beach Academy Charter and The Mantarayettes Dance Team. Mady has performed on television shows such as Sabado Gigante, Mega TV, Republica Deportiva, Despierta America, Mega TV, Premios Lo Nuestro and has worked with the likes of Wyclef, Shakira, Pitt Bull, DJ Laz, Don Francisco, Power 96 And Y100.Read more
Founded by Nancy St. Leger who was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. She took formal Modern and African dance classes after moving to New York at Bernice Johnson Dance Company in Jamaica, Queens. She joined Sosyete Koukouy in New York, and Anacaona in Far Rockaway, New York, performed with Hunter College Dancers, St. John’s University, State University of New York at Stony Brook and other various colleges and universities in the Tristate area.
